A few weeks ago, God showed me resilience first hand. He knew I would need the lesson in the days to come. The pepper plants were “damaged” from an unexpected cool night. I held on hope, even when it looked terrible. My heart was aching because I know the money, time, work, and love that go into each of the plants. D also thought they were dead, but the root system looked fine. New growth started in places where we had never seen growth before. We planted the “damaged” peppers and they are thriving. When we are “damaged”, we still have our strong roots and new growth follows.
