Luckett Farms is located in Central and Pride Louisiana. We are a local Family Farm working 7 days a week to provide our customers in the Greater Baton Rouge area with local, quality, home grown produce for affordable pricing. We currently sell our produce direct to the consumer either through our CSA Program or seasonally at the Red Stick Farmer’s Market. We have several plots of land, two are located in Pride, LA near the East Baton Rouge and East Feliciana Parish line and the third at our home in Central, LA,. Everyone helps out on the farm and the kids have fun while gaining knowledge about the food that they eat. Dalton (age 8) and Maycee (age 4) enjoy watching the plants grow and Love when picking comes around usually more ends up as a snack, while picking then what goes into the bucket! We are passionate about teaching others how to grow, harvest, and cook healthy foods! This is one of the reasons that Derek went back to school to study Horticulture at LSU. Sign up for our CSA and have local, farm fresh veggies with your next meal!

A Word From Kacie (The Farmer’s Wife)
We truly feel that our CSA venture has provided us with the most rewarding experience. The CSA has allowed Derek and I to work together as a team. It has taught our young children and ourselves more life lessons than I could count. We’ve learned the value of true perseverance all while strengthening our faith. Derek and I never thought the CSA would provide for such an opportunity of growth on so many levels.
Derek started this venture at my behest and with no real expectations. He along with many others, thought it would not work here. As I recall there were numerous fellow farmers, professors, family members, and friends who thought (and still think) we were crazy! With that said, the responses has been nothing short of amazing. We’ve created new friendships, formed business relationships, have been provided the opportunity to give back and have been educated in lots of new and interesting ways of life. All of which I appreciate and value each and every day.
The thanks that we receive from our Members week after week, the emails, the Facebook Posts and handwritten notes are appreciated and hold great meaning for us. We look forward to continued success, growth and new friendship in the coming season. Kacie Luckett (The Farmer’s Wife)
