I Hope this Email finds you well. We are now enrolling for the fall 2025 season. Since y’all asked, I have opened the enrollment for the 2026 Full Year season!
So, what are ALL the details?
The Fall season will start back in September and will be 6 weeks. We are filling up fast so if you want a spot please sign up today or let me know.
We will also have a winter season after fall. We now have many vegetables planted and growing. These include tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, white squash, and winter squash like acorn, spaghetti, butternut, and buttercup. We also have melons, peppers, okra, cucumbers, and corn. There are root vegetables, greens, and salad mix growing too. Additionally, we have beans, peas, eggplant, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and lettuce.
The fall season will be 6 weeks, and we have added a few new locations. Our oldest son, Dalton, will be at the Red Stick Farmers Market each Sat. You are welcome to pick up downtown on Sat from 8-12. Find us on 5th and Main Street at our booth at the farmers’ market. We have also added pick up at the farm on Thursday or Sat. The location of the farm is 14722 Pride Port Hudson Rd Pride La 70770. We are right down the street from the Pride Library or northeast schools. We do still have several other locations for Tuesday and Wednesday and also offer home delivery.
If you would like us to plant something special for you (that we haven’t grown) please reach out to us.

My favorite thing about CSA bags/boxes are the fact that I don’t have to shop around or make a list. I hate getting out and grocery shopping especially during this “covid” time. Looking at the produce section in the grocery store makes my heart sink, as I face all the choices I have to make. Honestly, the grocery story selection has been kind of bare recently. I end up buying the same simple items and as a result my meals lack variety. I love the bag of surprises from Luckett Farms. – Beth CSA Member Since 2015 |
Thank you for supporting our local farm the last 13 + year! In these uncertain times, we understand that You want to know you will have food on the table. You want to know where it is coming from. You also want to ensure you are doing as much as you can to keep your family healthy. We appreciate your local commitment to us. Community-supported agriculture farms focus on three main aspects: An emphasis is placed on local produce. Community members purchase a share of the upcoming season’s harvest or subscriptions sold prior to season. Weekly deliveries are made to the subscribers of their share. The benefits to the subscribers or members is multi-fold: 1 Members are guaranteed access to locally grown produce. 2 Members get some of the best quality & tasting vegetables they can find. 3 Members are directly supporting a farmer and his family. 4 Members know who grew their food. They understand how it was grown. 5 CSAs grow foods without harmful chemicals. They do not use genetically modified organisms (GMOs). 6 They help to preserve a way of life by keeping local farms in business. 7 Promoting and directly benefiting regional food security and the safety locally grown vegetables. Members need to keep in mind that CSAs are local and with that there are limitations. Unlike grocery stores with vegetables grown in unknown ways and shipped in from far off places, CSAs rely on the farmer. They depend on him to grow what he can in his region and season. Much like a home garden you plant what will grow in your area for that season. Generally speaking, the summer you get summertime produce like tomatoes, beans, lettuce, corn, summer squash etc. and in the winter, members will receive winter squash, greens, root vegetables etc. Your taste buds will not be disappointed. With your help, we are excited to continue this program and provide fresh veggies to Baton Rouge and surrounding area. We Love feedback from our customers. If you have any questions, then please email me. Thanks for helping us “grow”. www.luckettfarms.com/join Locally yours, Derek & Kacie |
