Happy First Week Of Summer :)

What should you do with your First CSA Box???

This is SOOO SOO SOO EASY… And SOOOO GOOD 🙂

I found it on pined it on pinterest a while back and the kids always come back for seconds. I also saw a recipe with cauliflower and broccoli. I don’t use the butter (i am sure it is great) I usually use a little olive oil and season to taste, some times add a Italian dressing and I LOVE to add onions, and bell peppers also!

In at 9×13 baking dish you layer halved new potatoes, thawed chicken breast and green beans.

You then pour a package of dry Italian salad dressing mix over everything and one stick melted butter.  I only used half a stick. You bake it at 350 for one hour.

Once it came out of the oven I let it sit for about 10 minutes.  It was wonderful!

Also Here is one for Snap Beans a member told me about last week. (Warning It is addictive)

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz green beans, trimmed (make sure they are dry)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • kosher salt + fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp shredded parmesan

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum for easy clean-up.
Lay green beans out on the baking sheet and drizzle oil over them. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and toss to evenly coat.

Spread them out on the sheet so that they all lay flat and place on the lower third section of your oven. Bake 10 minutes, shake the pan to turn; bake 5 additional minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Hope Everyone Has A GREAT week 🙂
