We often get asked what kind of vegetables and produce we grow and what will be included in the boxes.
The Louisiana growing seasons are long and can be plentiful. There is often overlap of crops from one season to another. The list below is a guide of the different items we plant every year. Please keep in mind, we are not a supermarket. We do not have seemingly endless supply of produce flown in from all around the world. We are a small farm, each crop is limited to the space and resources we have and are susceptible to unseasonal weather events.
So what can I really expect in my box?
The boxes will have some variation week to week but there will be a staple of Summertime Vegetables and Beans in the summer months and Squash, Sweet Potatoes and Greens in the Winter.
